Acura RL Lease: Model Strengths: Standard all-wheel drive; well-appointed interior; technology galore.

Acura RL Lease: Model Changes: The Acura RL has minimal changes for 2008. On the entry-level RL, the GPS-linked solar sensing dual-zone automatic climate control has been replaced with a more conventional dual-zone automatic climate control. For 2008 both the base RL and the Tech Package come with a Bluetooth wireless telephone interface.

Acura RL Lease: Model Value: Acura's flagship 2008 RL offers more standard equipment for the dollar than most of its competitors. All-wheel drive, a premium sound system, and a luxurious interior are all standard. Getting the rest of the bells and whistles-such as navigation, adaptive cruise control, and collision mitigation braking-still, which makes it one of the best luxury sedan values in the market.

Acura RL Lease: Model Overview: The 2008 RL is Acura's entry in the mid-sized luxury sedan market, and it remains one of the best appointed sedans in its class. With all-wheel drive, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, heated leather seats, a moonroof, tire pressure monitoring, a Bose AM/FM/6-disc CD changer with an auxiliary jack and XM satellite radio, and a power rear sun shade all standard, the RL delivers in most areas. It even boasts active noise cancellation to reduce cabin noise levels, thereby saving weight on sound deadening materials. The RL is powered by a 290-horsepower V6 which is one of the more powerful six-cylinder engines in its class. The V6 is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode. Independent suspension all around and front and rear stabilizer bars complete the package.Standard safety features include electronic brake distribution, stability and traction controls, fog lights, xenon headlights, and front and rear side curtain air bags. Throw in the car's five-star crash rating, and the RL becomes one of the safest vehicles on the road. The optional Tech Package includes a rearview camera, AcuraLink's satellite communication, and a navigation system that gives live traffic updates as well as Zagat survey results for area restaurants.Though not as flashy (or as expensive) as some of its V8 rivals, the RL proves to be capable in nearly all driving circumstances, and is consistently one of the top performers in its segment.

Acura TL lease: Model Strengths: Luxury, performance, and reliability, all in one; loaded with features; tremendous value.

Acura TL lease: Model Changes: 2008 is a carry-over year for the Acura TL, following the 2007 mid-cycle revision. As such, very little changed.

Acura TL lease: Model Value: The 2008 Acura TL skillfully combines power, luxury, safety, and reliability in a practical package, all while remaining at the lower end of pricing in its segment. Its appeal is broadened further with the Type-S satisfying the performance enthusiast.

Acura TL lease: Model Overview: The front-wheel-drive 2008 Acura TL continues to offer one of the best combinations of luxury and performance in its segment. The entry-level engine is a 3.2L SOHC V6 that produces 258 horsepower and is paired with a five-speed sequential SportShift automatic transmission. A 286-horsepower 3.5L V6 is standard in the resurrected Type-S. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, but can also be ordered with the same five-speed found in the base TL.Regardless of the engine, you get a roomy, comfortable four-door sedan that comes with standard features more often found in the top-echelon luxury cars. An eight-way power driver's seat, heated front seats, a power moonroof, and dual zone climate control are just a few of the luxury items. The audio system is outstanding, with XM satellite radio found alongside the standard six-CD changer and surround sound DVD audio. Every TL also comes packed with safety features, including side, front, and curtain air bags, anti-lock brakes, and traction control.Aside from the potent V6 and six-speed stick, the Type-S adds stiffer springs, 17-inch alloy wheels, Brembo disc brakes, a sport exhaust, distinct exterior and interior styling, and active noise cancellation. The only option on the TL is for a satellite navigation system, which happens to be one of the very best systems available. It includes voice-recognition and real-time traffic information. Since the nav system is standard on the Type-S, aside from selecting the transmission and the color, the only decision to make on Acura's performance flagship is whether or not to swap the all-season tires with summer performance treads. But more important than the gadgets is the driving experience, and the TL is a wonderful mixture of fun and relaxation. With the Type-S, it verges on exhilarating.

Acura RDX lease: Model Strengths: Sporty performance and handling for a utility vehicle; versatile cargo space; wide range of luxury features in a compact vehicle.

Acura RDX lease: Model Changes: The Acura RDX, which was completely new for 2007, receives a few minor changes for 2008. A Bluetooth hands-free system is now standard, along with a two-way driver's seat memory feature and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The available navigation system now incorporates data for Hawaii, and the real-time traffic function covers 32 new major metropolitan areas.A new Polished Metal Metallic exterior scheme joins the palette of colors.

Acura RDX lease: Model Value: The luxurious 2008 Acura RDX has a high-performance edge and is geared for those who want a sporty, all-weather vehicle but don't intend to go off-roading. The RDX has more curvaceous, edgy styling than other compact SUVs while still having a roomy, flexible interior. It also stands out for safety features and crash protection; Acura says its one of only two luxury SUVs to achieve both a five-star rating in federal front- and side-impact crash tests and be an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick.

Acura RDX lease: Model Overview: The 2008 RDX is powered by Acura's first-ever turbocharged engine-a 2.3L making 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The engine uses a computer-controlled i-VTEC variable valve actuation, working in conjunction with a variable-flow turbo system. Shifting is done through a five-speed automatic with Sequential Sport Shift, which allows the driver to command shifts through paddles alongside the steering wheel. An advanced all-wheel-drive system delivers power to the wheels on all RDXs. Called Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, it controls the distribution of power not only front to back, but also side to side. The system is tuned for high-performance, on-road driving conditions; it considers yaw control-a feature that few AWD systems have-and works in conjunction with the Vehicle Stability Assist system, a form of electronic stability control. The RDX also comes with side air bags for front occupants and full-length side-curtain bags for all outboard occupants. The RDX seats five, and the back seat is split 60/40 and folds forward flat to expand the cargo area to 60.6 cubic feet. There are also various storage compartments throughout the interior, most notably a lockable, dual-level center console that's large enough for a briefcase or laptop.A very long list of convenience and luxury equipment is standard on the RDX. Examples include a dual-zone climate control system, the Bluetooth HandsFreeLink system for cell phone connectivity, and a seven-speaker, 360-watt sound system with six-disc changer, MP3 compatibility, XM satellite radio, and an auxiliary input. There's only one significant option package on the RDX, the Technology Package, which adds a navigation system with voice recognition and real-time traffic information, a rearview camera system, the AcuraLink service allowing communication between Acura and the vehicle, and a ten-speaker, 410-watt surround sound audio system that was tuned by recording engineer Elliott Scheiner and can play DVD-Audio discs.

Acura MDX lease: Model Strengths: 300-horsepower V6; super handling all-wheel drive; luxury coupled with reliability.

Acura MDX lease: Model Changes: Acura redesigned their top-of-the-line MDX SUV in 2007, so changes are relatively few for the 2008 model. Grade logic control and xenon high-intensity discharge headlights are standard, as are LED taillights. The Technology Package includes upgraded leather interior trim, and both the Sport and Entertainment Packages include one more 12-volt power outlet to up the total to three.

Acura MDX lease: Model Value: The 2008 Acura MDX is sporty enough to make most drivers forget they are behind the wheel of a seven-passenger truckster while still being convenient to use for family and household activities. The lavish attention to detail will leave you feeling as if you'll never need a luxury sedan again.

Acura MDX lease: Model Overview: There are only a few vehicles that can be used in place of a small fleet of cars, and the 2008 Acura MDX is one of the best of those vehicles. On the one hand the MDX, redesigned for the 2007 model year, can double nicely as a luxury sedan. The front leather-trimmed power seats both coddle and support you, plus their heating function is a godsend when winter's arctic blasts hit. The electric moonroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, speed-sensing windshield wipers, satellite radio, and incredible sound system almost seem out of place in an SUV.The MDX is still an SUV, though. All-wheel drive ensures the vehicle can handle inclement weather, a possible 83.5 cubic feet of storage space guarantees a trip to Home Depot won't be a problem, seating for seven helps for carpool duties, and a 5,000-pound towing capacity can get the boat to the lake. The MDX was developed partly on European racetracks, and offers driving dynamics that make it a suitable substitute for sportier alternatives. The MDX may weigh nearly 4,600 pounds and have a high center of gravity, but the 300-horsepower 3.7L VTEC V6 goes a long way to satisfying boy racer fantasies. The four-wheel disc brakes provide ample stopping power, the ride is excellent, and the handling is assured. A five-speed automatic transmission backs up all MDXs.A Technology Package adds cruise, audio, and phone controls to the steering wheel, and a rearview camera, hands-free telephone interface, and real-time traffic updates to further the luxury theme. An Entertainment Package adds heated second row seats, a remote power tailgate, and a DVD entertainment system. An optional Sport Package comes with an active damping suspension system that adjusts the shocks in milliseconds to meet driving demands. A button on the console allows the driver to select between sport and comfort modes. Most impressive is Acura's use of their SH-AWD (super handling-all wheel drive). Not only is power shifted front to rear to aid in the slippery stuff, but it also transfers a goodly portion of the 275 lb-ft of torque between the right and left rear wheels to provide better drive out of the corners. The Sport Package also tacks on premium leather seat trim and the contents of the Technology Package.

Acura TSX lease: Model Strengths: Aggressive styling, athletic, nimble handling; good acceleration, excellent reliability, good standard interior appointments

Acura TSX lease: Model Changes: The Acura TSX is all new for 2009. The TSX is powered by an all-aluminum 2.4L inline-4 producing 201 hp. Exterior styling is an aggressive evolution of that seen on the Honda Accord, with bulging wheel wells, angular headlights, and a bold front grille treatment. The new TSX is longer and wider than the car it replaces, and features both a wider track and longer wheelbase. Two trim levels are offered for 2009; the base model is priced at $28,960, while the model with Technology Package costs $32,060.

Acura TSX lease: Model Value: While the TSX is considered Acura's entry-level sedan, it does not lack in either performance or luxury. The TSX's low base price belies its well-equipped nature, as it offers the convenience of standard Bluetooth connectivity, automatic headlights, premium stereo, and more. Even better, the car easily stacks up against more expensive competition like the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Acura TSX lease: Model Overview: The 2009 TSX is the Acura is powered by a DOHC all-aluminum 2.4L inline-4 with i-VTEC variable timing. It now delivers 201 hp at 7,000 rpm and 172 ft-lb of torque at 4,300 rpm. Overall, power comes across a broader powerband and for the first time meets the EPA's strict emissions standards as an Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV).Power is delivered to the front wheels through either a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic with a SportShift manual mode utilizing steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The car makes use of all its ponies quite sportily. The TSX's chassis has been stiffened and ride dynamics have improved, while at the same time the ride is quieter in the cabin. Additionally, the car's suspension utilizes new dual-mode dampers, which change automatically given road and driving conditions. Standard amenities across the TSX range are a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, leather seating with power adjustability for both driver and passenger, remote keyless entry, a premium 7-speaker CD stereo and iPod connectivity, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, and power windows, locks, and mirrors. The Technology Package adds intelligent navigation with a destination database, Zagat reviews, real-time traffic and weather reports, and Voice Recognition to allow drivers to operate the package through verbal commands.Standard safety equipment includes four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control and stability assist, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a sophisticated six-airbag
