BMW 1-Series Lease Model Strengths:
For the money, it's hard to think of a car that puts together as much performance, handling, refinement and user-friendliness in one package as the 2009 BMW 1 Series Lease . Powerful and efficient engines, sports car performance with coupe practicality, precise handling, high-quality interiors, convertible's sun-reflective leather

.

BMW 1-Series Lease Model Changes:
BMW 1 Series Lease was all new for last year, not much changes for 2009. A heated steering wheel now comes with the cold-weather package, optional active steering is no longer available on BMW 128i Lease models and the optional navigation system now comes with BMW's fourth-generation iDrive.. It is available in a few trim levels, including the BMW 128i Leases, which features a 230-horsepower 3.0L inline six, and a Leases an BMW 135i, which makes use of a 300-horsepower 3.0L inline six. Both engines are tried and tested and found across the range in the 3- and 5-Series. BMW Coupes Pricing starts at $30,025 for the 128i, while the BMW 135i starts at $36,425.

BMW 1-Series Lease Model Value:

The 2009 BMW 1-Series Lease For the most part, BMW Lease has created its own niche with the BMW 128i Lease and BMW 135i Lease. Potential rivals are either bigger and compete more with the BMW 3 Series Lease (like the Infiniti G37Leases ), have front-wheel drive (VW Eos Leases), are too mechanically different (Mazda RX-8 Leases or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Leasing ) or are less refined muscle cars (Ford Mustang GT Leases). If you're thinking of a BMW 1 Series Lease , the closest alternative would be the Audi TT Lease , but the BMW Lease is superior in almost every regard other than exterior styling.

BMW 1-Series Lease Model Overview: The BMW 1 Series' Leases compact styling makes it somewhat of a spiritual successor to BMW's classic 2002 coupe. But unlike the BMW of old, the BMW 128i Lease and the BMW 135i Leases offer modern conveniences that make the driving experience much more luxurious. For example, keyless ignition/entry, a premium stereo, a navigation system and the convertible's heat-reflective leather seating are welcome technologies in a car that supposedly pays homage to what was a pretty bare-bones performance machine. The 2009 BMW 1 Series Lease is available as a compact coupe and a soft-top convertible. Both come in BMW 128i Leasing and BMW Lease 135i trim levels. Standard equipment on the BMW 128i Lease includes 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, leatherette premium vinyl upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 10-speaker stereo with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. All coupes come standard with a sunroof; convertibles come with a power-operated soft top and an upgraded climate control system. The BMW 135i Leases trim level comes with a more powerful engine, a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels and all the standard equipment of theBMW 128i Leases plus xenon headlights and automatic climate control. The BMW 128i Lease is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 that produces 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. In our testing, the BMW 128i coupe sprinted from zero to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds. The BMW 135i Lease features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 that makes 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. We pulled a 0-60-mph time of 5 seconds flat for the coupe and 5.5 seconds for the convertible. A six-speed manual is the standard transmission on all trim levels, and a six-speed automatic with manual shift control is optional. All BMW 1 Series Leases are rear-wheel drive. The Lease BMW 1 Series convertible's options list includes the Moonlight Black soft top with shiny metallic fibers that produce a metallic silver appearance in sun- and moonlight. The convertible's optional leather upholstery also features BMW's exclusive sun-reflective pigments, which the company claims can lower the seat surface temperature by up to 20 degrees.

BMW 3-Series Lease Model Strengths:
Near-perfect vehicle dynamics, potent and refined engines, high-quality interior, four body styles, convertible's sleek retractable hardtop.

BMW 3-Series Lease Model Changes:
BMW's excellent 3-Series returns for 2009 with sedan and wagon variants receive a variety of mild styling updates as well as a slight increase in rear track width. A redesigned iDrive controller debuts for the optional navigation system, which is now hard-drive-based and features real-time traffic. Later in the model year, the 3 Series sedan Lease gets an optional twin-turbocharged clean-diesel engine. Finally, all-wheel-drive models are now badged xDrive, and a handful of features are new or revised.

BMW 3-Series Lease Model Value:
Another year, another round of subtle changes to make one of the most heralded automobiles ever made even better. For decades, the BMW 3 Series Leases has been the benchmark in the entry-level luxury car market be it in sedan, coupe, convertible or wagon guise. Typically, this BMW Lease has offered a magnificent blend of restrained luxury, top-notch build quality, just-right size, ample feature content and a ride/handling balance that other manufacturers have been unsuccessfully trying to copy for ages. For the 2009 BMW 3 Series Leasing , a few changes have been made to keep its superior status intact. Some of the sedan and wagon's more questionable styling elements have been rectified. These models receive a new front fascia that's reminiscent of the sexier coupe and convertible, and their streamlined cabooses mark a return to the more attractive BMW tradition of L-shaped taillights. The coupe and convertible have been left alone this year, and that's fine with us, as the sedan and wagon were the only members of the family that needed some cosmetic surgery.

BMW 3-Series Lease Model Overview:
The 2009 BMW 3 Series Lease is poised to remain America's best-selling luxury car, and for good reason it's an honest-to-goodness driver's car that's nonetheless comfortable and stylish enough to appeal to a wide range of consumers. This isn't to say that there aren't other worthy contenders. The Infiniti G37 Leases offers BMW 335i Leases power for BMW 328i Leasing money, the Cadillac CTS offers an extra dollop of interior room and the latest Audi A4 Leasesoffers all-weather capability in a stylish package. All are admirable alternatives; however, none is good enough to knock the 3 Series from its traditional perch. The 2009 BMW 3 Series Leasing is available in sedan, wagon, coupe and hardtop convertible body styles. All come in base rear-wheel-drive BMW 328i trim, while the coupe, sedan and wagon also come in all-wheel-drive 328i xDrive guise. All but the wagon are available in rear-drive 335i trim, while the sedan and coupe can be had in 335i xDrive Leases form. Later in the model year, a diesel-powered BMW 335d Sedan Lease will arrive. Standard equipment on the 328i models includes 16-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, a sunroof, leatherette vinyl upholstery, automatic climate control and a 10-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary input jack. Coupe and convertible versions come with slightly more equipment, including a sport-tuned suspension on the coupe and a power-retractable hardtop on the convertible. In addition to its more powerful engine, the 335i adds 17-inch wheels, xenon headlights and power front seats with driver memory. The Leasing an BMW 335d should be similarly equipped. The rear-wheel-drive BMW 328i Lease and all-wheel-drive BMW 328i xDrive Leases are powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 that produces 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. The BMW 335i Lease and BMW 335i xDrive Lease get a different 3.0-liter inline-6, this one twin-turbocharged to produce 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The BMW 335d Lease will be powered by a twin-turbocharged diesel engine rated at 265 hp and a pavement-rippling 425 lb-ft of torque. All gas-powered models come standard with a six-speed manual shifter, while a six-speed automatic is optional (standard on the 335d Lease) . Paddle shifters can be added to the auto.

BMW 5-Series Lease Model Strengths: Exceptional ride and handling dynamics, smooth and vigorous engines, premium cabin furnishings, sublime "multicontour" seats, strong resale value.

BMW 5-Series Lease Model Changes:
The BMW 5 Leases undergoes no significant changes for 2009, although all-wheel-drive models get "xDrive" attached to their name/number. Otherwise, the 5 Series Leasing range continues to consist of BMW 528i Lease, BMW 535i Lease and BMW 550i Lease for sedans and BMW 535i xDrive Leasing for the wagon. Of all these, the 535i Lease is certainly our pick of the litter. The primary reason is BMW's now-familiar twin-turbocharged inline-6, which endows the 535i Leases with a near-ideal blend of seamless power and respectable fuel efficiency. This torque-rich engine pulls hard from low in its rev range, effortlessly piling on speed whether merging on the highway or embarrassing Camaro-wielding wannabe street racers. In fact, the 535i is just 0.4 second slower from zero to 60 mph than the V8-powered Lease an 550i, yet it returns only 1 combined mpg less than the 528i Lease , which has 70 fewer horses. Additionally, this power plant weighs less than the Leasing BMW's 550i's V8, and that makes the 535i Lease feel better balanced and more responsive in corners.

BMW 5-Series Lease Model Value:
The 2009 BMW 5 Series Lease is available in sedan and wagon body styles. Three engines are available on the sedan that correspond to the three trim levels ( BMW 528i, 535i and 550i), with xDrive all-wheel drive available on the 528i and Lease BMW 535i sedans. The wagon comes in 535i xDrive trim only.

BMW 5-Series Lease Model Overview:
The BMW 528i Lease comes standard with 17-inch wheels, a sunroof, automatic headlights and wipers, power front seats with driver memory and power headrests, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, leatherette vinyl upholstery, automatic climate control, BMW Assist telematics, the iDrive electronics interface and a 10-speaker stereo with a CD player and an auxiliary input jack. The Lease a BMW 535i adds adaptive xenon headlights and lumbar support and the 535i xDrive wagon Lease adds a panoramic sunroof, fold-down rear seats and a power liftgate. The BMW 550i Lease adds parking assist, leather upholstery and auto-dimming mirrors. Most of the features that are standard on upper-level 5 Series models are optional on the lower trim levels, as are numerous additional features. These include larger wheels, active steering, a lane-departure warning system, front and rear parking assist, an infrared night vision display, active cruise control, shift paddles for the automatic transmission, fold-down rear seats, rear sunshades, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel (package only), multicontour power seats, keyless ignition/entry, a navigation system, a head-up display (which requires navigation), satellite radio, HD radio, an iPod interface and a 13-speaker Logic7 surround-sound audio system. The sport package adds bigger wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, active roll stabilization, multicontour seats, a sport steering wheel and, on the 550i, an aerodynamic body kit. BMW's model names and engine displacement used to correspond to each other, but not anymore. The 528i comes with a 3.0-liter inline-6 that produces 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. The 535i gets a different 3.0-liter inline-6, this one twin-turbocharged to pump out 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The BMW 550i Leasing gets a 4.8-liter V8 good for 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque. The sedans are rear-wheel drive by default, but the 528i and 535i sedans can be equipped with all-wheel drive. All three engines come standard with a six-speed manual; a six-speed automatic is optional. Performance is adequate even in the base 528i, but for those who care about moving swiftly, an upgrade to at least the 535i is in order. We clocked a 535i with the manual transmission at 5.8 seconds from zero to 60 mph. The 550i is fleeter still, completing the same sprint in 5.4 seconds with the stick shift. Fuel economy is very good in the 528i Lease (18 mpg city/27 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined with the automatic) and almost the same in the 535i sedan (17/26/20 mpg), with only a minimal penalty if BMW xDrive is added. However, the BMW 535i xDrive wagon Leasing drops to 16/24/19 with the automatic, and the 550 clocks in at 15/23/18 mpg.

BMW 6-Series Lease Model Strengths: Seamless acceleration from its big V8, agile despite its size, quiet cabin, nicely crafted interior, innovative convertible soft top, smooth yet sporty ride, ample trunk space in coupe.

BMW 6-Series Lease Model Changes:
The BMW 650i Coupe Leases and Convertible go mostly unchanged for 2009, although the sport package receives a contoured hood, exclusive colors and a sportier-sounding exhaust with chromed pipes.

BMW 6-Series Lease Model Value: The 2009 BMW 6-Series Lease sedan stands apart from its 5-Series Leases sibling thanks to its high-tech, performance-oriented features, which enable it to fill the double role of sports car and comfy luxury coupe. And the exclusive BMW M6 Lease has performance to rival many exotics from specialty sports car makers, while still having enough refinement for everyday driving.

BMW 6-Series Lease Model Overview:The 2009 BMW 650i Leases are available in coupe and convertible body styles. Standard equipment on the coupe includes 18-inch alloy wheels, hill holder (manual transmission), adaptive xenon headlights, foglights, auto wipers, parking sensors, power-folding mirrors, a panoramic tilt-only sunroof, eight-way power front seats with driver memory, leather upholstery, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, auto-dimming mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a universal garage opener, the iDrive electronics interface, a navigation system with voice commands and real-time traffic, Bluetooth and an eight-speaker stereo with a CD/MP3 player and an auxiliary audio jack. The convertible adds a fully lined and fully powered soft top, a separate glass rear window that can be independently raised and lowered, and sun-reflective leather upholstery. The rear-drive 2009 BMW 650i Lease is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 good for 360 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission is a six-speed manual, while a six-speed automatic with manual shift control is optional. In performance testing, a 650i Coupe went from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. The convertible should be in the low sixes. Fuel economy with the automatic is an EPA-estimated 15 mpg city/23 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined. Getting the manual drops the highway number by 1 mpg.

BMW's 7-Series Lease Model Strengths: BMW 7 Now with less controversial styling and less technological aggravation, the 2009 BMW 7 Series Lease is a greatly improved luxury flagship sedan and a clear choice for those who favor an involved driving experience.

BMW's 7-Series Lease Model Changes:
The 2009 BMW 7 Series has been fully redesigned. Highlights include new exterior styling, a revised iDrive interface and a new and more powerful turbocharged V8 engine.

BMW's 7-Series Lease Model Value:
The 2009 BMW 750i Lease and long-wheelbase BMW 750Li Leases are substantial improvements over the cars they replace -- and not just because of Bangle and iDrive. The 7 Series Lease is a lavish, rewarding luxury flagship sedan designed for those who prefer to be involved with their car. This is a highly competitive class, though, that contains such premium choices as the Audi A8, Lexus LS 460 and Mercedes S-Class, They all have their own merits that appeal to specific buyers and are worth a look. Given the 7 Series' adjustable driving settings, though, it certainly stands a better chance of meeting more people's wants and needs. Plus, not being Bangled should help, too.

BMW's 7-Series Lease Model Overview:
The 2009 BMW 7 Series leasing is a large luxury sedan available in 750i Lease and extended-wheelbase 750Li Lease styles. Standard equipment on the Lease a 750i includes 18-inch wheels, run-flat tires, adaptive xenon headlights, an adaptive adjustable suspension, front and rear parking sensors, a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding and auto-dimming exterior mirrors and keyless ignition and entry. On the inside, you'll find four-zone automatic climate control, 16-way-adjustable front seats, driver and passenger seat memory functions, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, heated front seats and leather upholstery. Standard electronic features include Bluetooth, the iDrive electronics controller, a hard-drive-based navigation system with real-time traffic and voice activation and a 10-speaker stereo with HD radio, an auxiliary audio jack and digital music storage (8GB). The 750Li Lease adds a self-leveling air suspension and a longer wheelbase for more rear seat space. Both the 2009 BMW 750i and 750Li are fitted with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 good for 400 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control sends the engine's power to the rear wheels. There are four settings for shift response and speed as part of the Dynamic Driving Control system, which also provides different settings for throttle response, shock-absorber firmness, power-steering assist and stability control.

BMW X3 Lease Model Strengths:The 2009 BMW X3 xDrive30i lease is an ideal choice for someone who wants a small crossover SUV that behaves like a sport sedan. Responsive handling, first-rate steering, superb power delivery, excellent build quality, abundant cargo space for its size.

BMW X3 Lease Model Changes: The BMW X3, The 2009 BMW X3 returns with a new name the BMW X3 xDrive30i Lease and only minor exterior and interior treatments.

BMW X3 Lease Model Value:
The 2009 BMW X3 also fulfills the brand's reputation for modern luxury with a long list of conveniences, exquisite comfort, premium interior materials and near-flawless build quality. Add to that the BMW X3's generous seating space (even for taller adults) and spacious cargo area, and you have an accomplished crossover SUV that's well suited for the chores of daily life as well as twisty roads.

BMW X3 Lease Model Overview:
The 2009 BMW X3 Lease is a small luxury crossover SUV that is offered in one trim level, the BMW xDrive30i Lease. Included as standard features are 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights, heated side mirrors, automatic climate control, leatherette (premium vinyl) upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, eight-way-adjustable power front seats with driver memory settings, full power accessories, keyless entry and a 10-speaker CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary audio jack.Powering the BMW X3 xDrive30i Leases is a 3.0-liter inline-6 engine that produces 260 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. All-wheel drive is standard. In our testing, we managed to accelerate a manual-transmission X3 Leasing to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds. EPA estimated fuel ratings for the automatic transmission are 17 mpg city/24 mpg highway and 20 mpg in combined driving. The manual transmission comes in at 1 fewer mpg across the board. The 2009 BMW X3 xDrive30i Lease excels when it comes to handling. Among small luxury crossover SUVs, the BMW X3 Lease has no equal when it comes to arcing along a curvy road, thanks to the superior steering feel, ideal suspension tuning and eager engine power output. However, if what you're looking for is a family vehicle to haul the clan cross-country in maximum comfort, the Leasing BMW's X3 sometimes stiff ride quality is a detriment. The Lease X3's straight-6 delivers spirited power over the majority of its rpm range, while the automatic transmission's gearchanges are caffeinated in their eagerness.

BMW X5 Lease Model Strengths: Nimble handling, powerful engines, luxurious and comfortable interior, huge list of features, excellent iPod interface.

BMW X5 Lease Model Changes: A new twin-turbo diesel engine debuts on the 2009 BMW X5 Lease, which promises robust power and enhanced fuel economy. Optional and standard equipment has been adjusted throughout the BMW X5 Leasing lineup, as have the trim level names

BMW X5 Lease Model Value: Now three years into its current generation, the BMW X5 Lease adds a new engine for these fuel-economy-conscious times. The 2009 BMW X5 xDrive35d Lease features a twin-turbocharged diesel inline-6 that not only produces ample low-end power (425 pound-feet of torque) but also sips fuel at the rate of a compact SUV rather than one that weighs 5,000 pounds. New emissions-scrubbing technology known as BluePerformance makes this diesel engine suitable for sale in all 50 states. Aside from its engine, the xDrive35d is mostly identical to the xDrive30i and xDrive48i trim levels (which were renamed for 2009 from 3.0si and 4.8i, respectively). They all provide sharp and confident handling, comfortable seating for five people (although the optional third row is only suitable for small kids) and plenty of luxury goodies. This isn't to say BMW has a patent on this formula.

BMW X5 Lease Model Overview:
The 2009 BMW X5 Lease is a midsize luxury SUV available in BMW xDrive30i Lease , BMW xDrive35d (late availability) and BMW xDrive48i Leasing trim levels. Standard equipment on the BMW xDrive30i includes 18-inch wheels, adaptive xenon headlights, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, power front seats with driver memory settings, a power tilt and telescoping steering column, vinyl "leatherette" upholstery, the iDrive electronics interface and a 12-speaker sound system with a CD player and an auxiliary audio jack. Aside from their different engines, the BMW xDrive35d and BMW xDrive48i trims are virtually identical. There are three engines available for the 2009 BMW X5 Lease. The X5 xDrive30i Lease is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 that produces 260 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Its EPA estimated fuel economy is 15 mpg city/21 mpg highway and 18 mpg combined. The xDrive35d features a twin-turbocharged diesel inline-6 that produces 265 hp and 425 lb-ft of torque. This engine includes clean-diesel technology that allows it to be sold in all 50 states. BMW estimates fuel economy will be 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway while matching the xDrive30i's acceleration abilities. The X5 xDrive48i gets a 4.8-liter V8 good for 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. In performance testing, the BMW 48i went from zero to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds. EPA fuel economy estimates are 14 city/19 highway and 16 combined. All Lease X5s are all-wheel drive and come with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. Properly equipped, an X5 Lease can tow 6,000 pounds. The new X5's interior is one of the most elegant BMW has ever built. The construction is precise, the materials are high-quality and the instrumentation is crystal-clear. The front seats are nicely shaped and adjust for a wide range of body types (the optional comfort seats offer even more adjustment). The only sour notes include the complex BMW iDrive system (although it's well-suited to the optional iPod interface), the cramped third-row seat and the gear selector, which many drivers find too much like a video game controller. With the second- and third-row seats folded, the X5 offers a total of 75 cubic feet of cargo space, which is about average for this class. The 2009 BMW X5 Lease is one of the best-handling midsize luxury SUVs you can buy. Whether driving on back roads or on an endless expanse of interstate, the X5 is a champ. Although some competitors offer more utility and many are more adept off-road, the X5 does an amazing job of taking the sensations and talents of BMW's legendary sport sedans and translating them to the SUV world. This is particularly true when the X5 Lease is fitted with the optional active dampers and stabilizers.
